- Wiebe Draijer. Former partner at McKinsey. Now Rabobank.
- Konstantinos Apostolatos. Former colleague of Maud at Gemini. Now partner at ATKearney. Kos was mentor of several people who are part of the “look-alike” group.
They look alike. And they have a similar build (tall, slim), with a similar job history. They even have the same hobby: long distance running! How about that? What are the odds?
Left: Kos Apostolatos. Right: Wiebe Draijer.
Similar ears. The same nose. The same uneven chin and jawline. Nose is identical. Eyes are very similar and differences can be achieved with make-up. Eyebrows have the same shape. The overall contour of the face is similar.
Kos is Greek, while Wiebe is Dutch. They have similar careers and university degrees (management and technology), but at different organizations. You would expect them to have similar knowledge. They should know each other. Right?
The differences are basically the color of skin and hair. Kos Apostolatos is dark (even for a Greek person) and Wiebe Draijer is white/blond. Kos Apostoloatos has more grey hair, compared to Wiebe Draijer
How can that be? In the Netherlands, there are maybe 10 strategy consulting firms, all with a few (senior) partners. This is a very small group of people. How can two men from the same pool of people look that much alike?
