TV-series, though fiction, shape what the public believes might be possible

Who is ruling over us? What does the fiction from Hollywood tell us recently about that?

  • “24” Bauer becomes USA president in “Designated Survivor”.
  • “Scandal” reveals what might be going on in the White House.
  • “Madam Secretary” about what a good person in the White House needs to do.
  • In “Homeland” and “24 Legacy” again the White House plays an active role.

These are mainly good people doing “what it takes” in the dirty world of politics.

Never before were the internal activities of the White House so often the main subject of TV-series. James Bond would perhaps visit “Her Majesty” for a few minutes, discretely, but that was his maximum exposure time. Even “Gotham” (before Batman) discusses how villains become mayors and how the city is actually run by the Court of Owls.

The public nowadays are allowed to see how the work of secret services is related to politics. Imagine, in “Scandal” the presidential elections are frauded and the people never find out. Compare that to the Watergate scandal.

Though fiction, these series shape what the average person “is allowed” to think. For me there is one question left: Why do they want all of you to think about this now?

And before you comment on our TV series, please review the acting of your Queen from Argentinia. On her marriage, crying, you know. On live TV, with the whole world watching.

    There are 2 scenarios:
Either she is an unstable crying baby who can not be without mum and dad for 5 minutes. The kind of woman no responsible man would take with him to important meetings, as she will be too unstable to take care of herself. Cry-baby.
Or she is a manipulative bitch, who cries on TV just to make sure the people forget about the many victims in Argentinia and instead feel sorry for the family Zorreguieta. They were involved in the junta government and their politics. Basta.

TV series and other TV performance are there to keep us busy and to manipulate us. Everyone in that business knows and is involved.

    More trends on TV shows?
    – All CSI work is done by people in wheelchairs? Oké, but this many? (Bones, NCIS New Orleans)
    – How many CSI team members must be in prison? (NCIS LA, NCIS New Orleans)
    – Prison break is back. So now we know only a few agents are corrupt (only Poseidon, God of the seas)

See, my lord, from this room—from this room I govern not only Paris, but China: not only China, but the whole world, without any one knowing how ‘tis managed.

Back in the 90s The X-Files The Power allowed it to be on television. Just to provide a smokescreen and make us think that we knew the truth. Another Chris Carter series, Millennium, was quite popular, but cancelled after 3 seasons. Just because it’s too black, depressing and too close to the truth.

Season 3 episode 22 (322) is called Revelations.
How NWO can it get? Is it finally sipping through?
