Crucifixion in Kiev – Kruisiging in Kiev (24 April 2015) – Who made this video? (part 6)

It is not even real fire & I can show you!  –  Het vuur zelf is nep !

vlcsnap-2015-04-26-23h03m18s426On April 24 2015 in Ukraine, allegedly a man was crucified by what seems to be militairy men. Since we do not know yet the origin of the video, we can not report on its meaning yet. So far we do have some questions about the authenticity.

Why is this not real fire?

  1. The hanged man does not lift his feet even though they are not attached to the cross. In fact, he does not even attempt to lift them!
  2. A normal fire is not this stable in shape. It has flames that become smaller and larger in unpredictable patterns. The flames of a normal fire would move this way, with a tendency to “lean” in the same direction as the smoke is blown towards.
  3. No signs the fire heats the air. A real fire creates movement of hot air from the fire upwards. This is why we see things blurred when we look at something that is behind a fire. In this video, we do not see the hanging man more blurred than the other people.

Anyone can see immediately there is not a pile of wood underneath the cross. We should not be surprised. Who would start a real fire this close to a “background wall“?

How did they do it? They could simply have done it by using a fuel that burns with a fire at a lower temperature than normal fire, e.g. kerosene or rubbing alcohol. But in that case the fire would have looked more real and there would be the risk of the fire expanding (to other materials nearby).

What could they have used? I am sure if I spend a day studying the multiple options, I would find the perfect material that matches what we see on the video. My best guess now is: they used corn starch or a material similar to it, like flower. Corn starch burns when it is blown into a flame in the right density. The starch flames do not go upwards, because it burns just shortly. If they did use corn starch, they made a “corn starch blower” underneath and inside the cross (where you see the fire). Dear reader, google it. Study magic tricks with fire. It is certainly possible to fake a fire realisticly for a few seconds.

What is left of this video, now we know all this?  (fake background and fake fire)
